23/02/2010 at 11:31 am. it is most likely that the car was made early 2002 and registered late! this is because in the second half of 2002 they changed the cars to include isofix on all zafira models, this is only on cars made in the second half of 2002 not registered then, if it has 3x3 point harness it will have isofix if it dosnt it wont

By the way, there isn't any safety difference between the two methods. It's just that a base makes it quicker to get the seat in and out of the car, and also makes it easier to leave the seat in the car (because you can just unfasten the harness and lift your baby out).
